SENCHA
A type of Japanese green tea made by infusing whole green leaves in hot water.
HANAMI TREATS
Hanami Dango: rice flour dumplings coloured pink, white and green.
Sakura Jelly: Floral cherry jelly topped with a pickled cherry blossom flower.
Sakura Mochi: Red bean paste wrapped in pink mochi and a salt preserved cherry blossom leaf.
Sakura Yatsuhashi: Red bean paste inside a pink coloured mochi triangle
MOMIJI MANJU
A sweet, baked, maple leaf-shaped cake made from a castella batter and typically filled with bean paste. Other fillings include custard, matcha cream, peach jam and even cheese!
BENTO
Usually eaten at lunch a bento is a meal served in a box and aesthetically arranged into sections. They usually contain rice or noodles as a base and proteins such as fish, eggs, and meat. Side items usually include pickled and cooked vegetables, and salad items.
NERIKIRI WAGASHI
These traditional Japanese sweets are usually eaten during a tea ceremony with matcha. Made from sweetened white bean paste and glutinous rice flower. The moldable consistency has meant that these sweet treats are turned into beautiful motifs that match the theme and season they are eaten in.
SUSHI
A world famous Japanese dish. Sushi is the combination of vinegared rice with raw fish, seafood or egg. Sushi literally means 'sour rice' so the main part of sushi cuisine is the rice itself.
TAKOYAKI
Takoyaki are spherical battered snacks filled with tender pieces of octopus. Crisp on the outside and molten on the inside, these savory treats are cooked in special molds and topped with tangy takoyaki sauce, creamy mayonnaise, bonito flakes, and aonori (seaweed powder).

FRUIT SANDO
The fruit sando is a whimsical Japanese sandwich combining pillowy-soft shokupan (milk bread) with fresh, juicy fruits and a layer of lightly sweetened whipped cream. Often featuring strawberries, kiwi, or oranges, it’s as visually stunning as it is delicious. The fruits are carefully arranged to create colorful and aesthetic cross-sections when cut.
RAMEN
Ramen is a beloved Japanese noodle dish featuring chewy noodles served in a steaming bowl of rich, flavorful broth. The base can vary from creamy tonkotsu (pork bone) to soy-based shoyu or miso, each offering a unique taste experience. Toppings like tender slices of chashu (braised pork), marinated eggs, nori, and green onions add layers of flavour and texture.
TAIYAKI
Taiyaki is a fish-shaped pastry made with a pancake-like batter. It’s traditionally filled with sweet red bean paste, but modern versions include fillings like custard, chocolate, or sweet potato. Crispy on the outside and soft inside, taiyaki is a popular street food.
ONIGIRI
Onigiri are a staple snack or meal-on-the-go made with seasoned rice shaped into triangles or rounds. Often wrapped in crisp nori (seaweed) and filled with savoury ingredients like salmon, pickled plum, or tuna mayo, onigiri is simple yet satisfying.
OMURICE
Omurice is a fusion dish that combines fluffy Japanese omelette with fried rice, often flavoured with ketchup and mixed with vegetables and chicken. The silky omelette is draped over the rice and finished with a drizzle of ketchup or demi-glace sauce.
FLUFFY PANCAKES
These incredibly fluffy, jiggly, and light-as-air souffle pancakes melt in your mouth. Made with a meringue-based batter, they’re cooked slowly to achieve their towering height and soft, cloud-like texture. Served with toppings like whipped cream, fresh fruits, or maple syrup, these pancakes are as dreamy as they look.
MATCHA PARFAIT
A matcha parfait is a layered dessert that highlights the earthy, bittersweet flavours of matcha (green tea). It typically includes layers of matcha ice cream, sponge cake, jelly, sweet red beans, mochi, and whipped cream, creating a beautiful combination of textures and tastes.
KAKIGORI
Kakigori is a traditional Japanese shaved ice dessert, topped with flavoured syrups like matcha, strawberry, or yuzu, and often enhanced with condensed milk for added sweetness. The finely shaved ice has a fluffy, snow-like texture that melts in your mouth, making it the perfect treat for hot summer days. GYOZA
Gyoza are Japanese dumplings filled with a savoury mixture of ground meat (often pork), cabbage, garlic, and ginger, wrapped in a thin dough. They’re typically pan-fried until crispy on one side and tender on the other, then served with a tangy dipping sauce made of soy sauce and vinegar.
STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE
Japanese strawberry shortcake is a light and fluffy dessert made with layers of soft sponge cake, fresh whipped cream, and juicy strawberries. It’s less sweet than its Western counterpart, focusing on delicate flavors and an airy texture. This iconic Japanese cake is often eaten around Christmas time.
DORIYAKI

DANGO

OKONOMIYAKI

MONAKA
Monaka is a delicate dessert featuring crispy, wafer-like shells filled with sweet fillings such as red bean paste, chestnut paste, or even ice cream. Monaka comes in various shapes and sizes, often resembling flowers or traditional motifs, adding an artistic touch to this classic confection.
MATCHA SHOKUPAN, MELONPAN, AND ANPAN
Matcha shokupan is a fluffy milk bread infused with the earthy, slightly bitter flavour of matcha green tea. Melonpan is a sweet bun with a soft, fluffy interior and a crisp, cookie-like crust on the outside. Anpan is a soft, slightly sweet bun filled with smooth red bean paste, and topped with seasme seeds, its a classic staple in Japanese bakeries.
ZARU SOBA
Zaru soba is a chilled noodle dish made with buckwheat noodles served on a bamboo mat, accompanied by a dipping sauce called tsuyu. The noodles are topped with shredded nori and often paired with green onions, wasabi, or grated daikon for added flavor. Light and refreshing this is a perfect dish for hot summer days.
HARAJUKU CREPE
Harajuku crepes are kawaii, handheld desserts made with thin crepes filled with a variety of sweet or savoury ingredients. Popular options include fresh fruit, whipped cream, custard, ice cream, and even slices of cake, all rolled into a cone shape. Famous in Tokyo’s Harajuku district, these colourful and customisable crepes are an Instagram-worthy street food sensation.
OGURA TOAST
Ogura toast is a comforting Japanese breakfast dish originating from Nagoya, featuring thick slices of toasted bread topped with creamy butter and sweet red bean paste (ogura). Perfect with coffee or tea, it’s a nostalgic staple in Japanese coffee shops.
MOCHI DONUT
The mochi ring donut is a chewy and springy treat made with glutinous rice flour, giving it a unique texture that’s delightfully different from traditional donuts. Its characteristic ring shape is formed by a chain of dough balls, often glazed or topped with flavours like matcha, chocolate, or strawberry.
SUKIYAKI
Sukiyaki is a hearty hot pot dish featuring thinly sliced beef, tofu, vegetables, and noodles simmered in a savory-sweet broth made of soy sauce, sugar, and mirin. Traditionally cooked at the table, it’s a social and interactive meal enjoyed with family or friends. Often dipped into raw beaten egg before eating, sukiyaki is rich, flavorful, and comforting.
SAKURA ROLL CAKE

YAKITORI & TAMAGOYAKI
